                        DIY Bath bombs

Introduction:

Bath bombs come in different shapes and colours but the most common shape is a sphere. Bath bombs are dry mixtures compresed together. When we put a bath bomb in water it starts to fizz. In this blog I will show you how to make bath bombs with and without citric acid.

How to make bath bombs with citric acid

Ingredients:
1/4 cup citric acid, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup corn starch, 1/4 cup epsom salt (optional), 3 teaspoons oil (any type), mold (any type), 1 table spoon water, 1 table spoon essencial oil(optional), and food colouring(optional)

Step 1:
Mix all the dry ingidients together. Make sure everthing is mixed properly.





 
Step 2:
In another bowl mix oil, water, essencial oil (optional), and food colouring (optional)

   

Step 3:
Slowly pour the wet ingridient in the dry ingridients and mix it carefully until it looks like this

Step 4:
Put them in the mold and leave it over night or put them in the frigde for 30 miniutes

Step 5:
Tap on both sides of the mold and carfully take it out

The Bath bomb is ALL DONE!


How to make bath bombs without citric acid:

Ingridients:
1/2 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup epsom salt (optional), food colouring (optional), spray bottle, lemon juice, mold, and water

Step 1:(optional)
Mix the baking soda with epsom salt













Step 2:
In a spray bottle mix a little water, some lemon juice, and food colouring (optional)

Step 3:
Spray some wet mixture in the dry mixture and mix it untill it looks like this

Step 3:
Put the mixture in a mold and put it in the freezer for one hour

Step 5:
Take it out of the mold and wait over night before you use.

And thats how to make bath bombs with and without citric acid.
